muxd install-client
Register `muxd mcp` globally in your AI coding clients.
usage
muxd install-client [claude | claude-desktop | cursor | vscode | all] [--print]Adds muxd to the user-level MCP configuration of each client found on this machine, so every project gets it without a per-project config. It registers the absolute path of the binary, so desktop apps that don't inherit your shell PATH can still start it.
Supported clients: Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and VS Code. Existing entries in the config files are preserved.
Arguments
[client] | Which client to configure: claude, claude-desktop, cursor, vscode or all (default: every client found).optional |

--print | Print the config snippets instead of writing anything. |

Notes
- Restart the client, or reload its MCP servers, to pick up muxd.
