muxd mcp
Run the MCP server over stdio. This is what AI clients launch.
usage
muxd mcpServes every indexed doc source to an AI client over the Model Context Protocol, on stdin/stdout. You don't run it by hand: muxd init and muxd install-client register it in your clients, which start it on demand.
It finds the current project from the working directory (or CLAUDE_PROJECT_DIR), serves that project's docs plus your global sources, and starts a background sync if dependencies changed. Sources hot-reload when the sync finishes, so the client is never kept waiting.
Tools it exposes: list_sources, search_docs, get_doc, list_sections and save_doc. See MCP tools.
